Conference of Young Scientists

St. Petersburg, Russia, 21-27 of April 2007

The conference is organized by the St. Petersburg State University and Scientific Production Association Center of Informational Technologies.

The subject of the presentations can be connected with any field of physics, mathematics, computer science and ecology. Each project can be presented only by one secondary school student, and should last not longer then 15 minutes.

The participation fee is 100 EUR/person, which paid expenses with the accommodation, cultural program and conference materials.

Every team is supposed to have a notebook to be used at their presentations, but if not, we believe that students can share their notebooks as all presentations will be given at different time. A notebook can be also provided by the LOC, but the order should be made in advance.

Information on several deadlines:

10th of January: Preliminary registration. Announcement of team leaders’ names and number of students and presentations must be made. The participation of more than one team from one country is possible, but must be inquired for.

16th of January: For the countries having more then one team to be sent to the conference. They will be informed on the number of students that will be ac-cepted. Registration will be continued till the acceptable number is not pre-vailed.

10th of February: the completion of registration of all teams. LOC must obtain the names of the students and all information about.

1st of March: Payment of half the participation fee of 50 EUR /person (or full payment).

15th of March: LOC must obtain abstracts of all presentations in English.
